The round mouth of the bowl is painted with black paint inside, and the straight wall is connected with the circle foot. The outer edge of the mouth and the lower part of the abdomen are painted with yellow paint, and the “Swastika” brocade and Ruyi cloud head pattern are carved for one week respectively. The abdomen is made of red lacquer flower brocade and carved with yellow lacquer double dragons playing with beads, with vivid charm. The yellow paint on the wall outside the foot has continuous echoes. The inside of the foot is painted with red paint, and there is a double-line regular script with a knife carved in the middle and filled with gold “Ming Wanli’s own ugly year system”. The dragon pattern image and meticulous decoration of the lacquer ware are the typical style of lacquer carving in the Wanli period
The method of removing yellow is the same as removing red, but the paint color is different. Yellowish lacquerware is rare in carved lacquer, so it is particularly precious
