Duanshiqin inkstone, in the late Ming Dynasty, is 8.5 cm long, 3.7 cm wide and 1.6 cm high
The inkstone is the end stone, and the shape is in the form of guqin. The inkstone surface is concave, and the inkstone pool is connected with the inkstone hall. There are four small feet on the back of the inkstone. The upper part of the inkstone is engraved with the title of Qian Qianyi, a person named “The Emperor of Hedong”, and the title of Qian Qianyi is signed. It is inscribed with the following words: “The peach is young and its leaves are savage. The son returns home and is suitable for his family. It is suitable for his family, and then he can teach the Chinese people. In the fifth year of Chongzhen’s reign, it is also recorded by Liu.”. It is accompanied by a mahogany carved zither box, with a bamboo engraved “ink stone painting” on the box surface, and the following words are added: “In the early summer of Ding Wei, the painting of ink stone painting is made in response to the play of the brother Zhuting. Cheng Tinglu”
