Red Dihuang Colored Sea Water Cloud Dragon Pattern Cover can, Ming Jiajing, has a height of 18.5 cm, a diameter of 7.2 cm, and a foot diameter of 9.2 cm
The pot has a straight mouth, short neck, full shoulder, bulging belly, astringent below the belly, and round feet. The middle part of the cover is convex with a bead shaped button, and the cover mouth is closed along the lower arc. The outer wall of the body and the cover are decorated with red, yellow, sea, water, cloud and dragon patterns. The outline and details of the patterns are drawn with gold color. The inside of the cover, the inside of the pot and the inside of the ring foot are all painted with blue and white glaze. The outsole is printed with blue and white regular script “made in Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty” in double lines and six characters.
