Porcelain in the early Ming Dynasty is often decorated in Sanskrit and Arabic. Because Emperor Zhengde attached importance to Islam, Arabic was more popular at that time, and appeared on all kinds of implements. The words generally contained auspicious and blessing meanings. Sometimes the content is no longer important, and a considerable part of the text can no longer express its original meaning, but only as decorative patterns. The Arabic decoration on this kind of porcelain is the material material for studying the interaction and influence of Islamic culture and Chinese culture in the middle of the Ming Dynasty
