The blue and white flowers in this furnace are slightly faint. From the perspective of shape and painting style, it is a typical folk kiln work. The theme of the painting is based on the legend of the Western Han Dynasty. It is said that during the reign of Emperor Jingdi of the Western Han Dynasty, three brothers Mao Ying, Mao Gu and Mao Zhong practiced Taoism in Maoshan, in the southwest of Jiangsu Province, and cured the people, and then became immortals. They often traveled by white cranes.
