The chessboard is rectangular, with four upright walls, waist girdling, and a six-foot supporting base. The bottom of the board is made of gilded long boxes along the four sides, and twelve dots with mother-of-pearl inlay are symmetrically made along the long side, which are chess positions. In the frame, the swastika was decorated with seven lions playing ball patterns on the ground. The inner wall of the plate is decorated with various flowers with tangled branches, the outer wall is decorated with ten open lights, and the inner sapphire blue ground is decorated with various flower and fruit patterns
The body of this plate is thick, regular in shape, and beautifully decorated. It is a heavy weapon made by the imperial supervisor of the Ming Dynasty, and it is a unique item handed down from generation to generation
