Respect the circle, extravagant mouth, circle foot, halberd out of the four corners, and the deep part of the mouth is decorated with bronze gilding, flower and banana leaf patterns. The whole body is made of light blue enamel glaze and decorated with lotus patterns. A cross pestle pattern is carved in the center of the foot, and the six characters of the regular script “made in the year of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty” are engraved on the side. The bottom is added later
In the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, most of the filigree enamels were based on blue enamel, with red, blue, yellow, green, white and purple enamels filled with patterns. The color was pure, the glaze was fine, and there were few bubbles, reflecting the excellent quality of the enamel. The pattern usually shows the branches and vines with a single line, and is finely trimmed. This statue is one of the representative works of filigree enamel in Xuande period
