The disc is round, diffuse and shallow, and encircles the foot. The yellow lacquered ground inside the plate is full of red lacquered chrysanthemums, and the outer wall is also ringed with chrysanthemum patterns. The outer bottom is painted with ochre paint, and the left foot is stitched with the “Ming Yongle Year” running script
The decoration of flower patterns on the lacquerware of Yongle Dynasty is mostly odd-numbered, with three flowers evenly distributed and evenly spaced. Among the five or seven flowers, there is a big one in the center, and the rest is slightly small, evenly distributed around, with flipped flowers and leaves set off, or buds in bud between, which emphasizes the sense of visual balance and integrity.
