The Yongle and Xuande dynasties were the golden ages in the history of blue and white porcelain in China. The body material, bottom glaze and painting of blue and white porcelain were all excellent. This plate is made of “Su Ni Bo Qing” material imported from the West when Yongle was used. It is thick and gorgeous, permeates into the fetal bone, and has “rust spots” formed by natural halo. It feels uneven when touched by hand. The existing Yongle blue and white porcelain at home and abroad is often decorated with flowers, and the loquat ribbon bird is rarely seen. According to the information available, only three pieces are complete: one at the National Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan, and one at the Tianjin Art Museum, while the one at the Palace Museum in Beijing is the most exquisite.
