Printed copper cast, handle button. The printed face is embossed with a wide border, and the printed text is cast in embossed script, starting from the top right. There is a regular script inscription on the printing table, “The seal of the commander of Tudu River Guard. Made by the Ministry of Rites. On the first day of the sixth year of Yongle. Yizi No. 81”
In the Ming Dynasty, all the guards were divided into Beijing guards and Waiwei guards. This seal is the official seal of the commander of the Tudu River Guard in the Outer Guard. The Tudu River Wei is under the command and envoy department of Nuergandu, which was established in the sixth year of Yongle (1408), and is now located at the Dongbei Tunhe River Tun Station in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province.
