The payment was signed “On the mid-winter solstice of the 16th year of Yongle, the academician of the Imperial Academy wrote a letter in the cloud.” The seal was “Shen Minze”, “Yutang Bachelor”, and “Zile Xuan”. The collection includes three parts: “Qin and Han Dynasties Ten Seal Room Collection”, “Zhang Jixiong Seal” and “Rizao Treasure”
The work was written by Shen Du at the age of 62. It is a classic work of “Taige style” with correct and precise words, exquisite and steady strokes, round and graceful posture, and exquisite skills. However, due to too much attention to delicacy and elegance, there are few changes in writing. This is also the common problem of “Taiwan Pavilion Style”, which is a combination of thousands of people and articles. Wang Wenzhi, a calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty, once wrote a poem praising: “The Shen family brothers are straight in the words, and their hairpin and pen are not inferior to each other. Duan Yazheng is suitable for writing books, and there are special books in the library and pavilion.” This poem explains why Shen Du wrote many kinds of poems, such as “proverbs” and “inscriptions”, and rarely wrote poems by himself.
