This volume of the book “Thousand Characters” by Zhou Xingsi responds to the request of his friend Xu Shangbin. Xu Shangbin, a famous monk, a Chinese character Shangbin, a native of Huating, works in calligraphy, and is famous for his talent. He made friends with scholars and calligraphers such as Shen Can, Qian Pu, and Ye Sheng. Shen Can’s strokes are fast and smooth, and the strokes are strong and sharp, which shows his sophisticated skills and strong artistic creativity in his later years. The obvious cursive strokes in the works show that Shen Can has adopted the cursive strokes of Song Ke, his hometown elder, which makes his cursive strokes more elegant than elegant. The book was signed in “Ding Mao”, which was the 12th year of the Ming orthodoxy (1447), and the author was 69 years old
After this picture, there are two postscripts written by Gao Shiqi of the Qing Dynasty in Kangxi Jimao (1699) and Xinsi (1701), which briefly describe the collection process and appraise it. After Gao, he was involved in the Tibetan and Qing dynasties, and was recorded in the first edition of Shiqu Baoji
