[Tang Yin Peitai Realistic Picture Page]

Peitai Realistic Picture Page, Ming Dynasty, Tang Yin’s work, silk, ink, 26.2 cm in length and 23.9 cm in width
The author wrote a seven-character rhyme poem with his own title: “Zhengde Bingyin, accompanied the old man of Otsuka Zai Taiyuan to the Song Wind Platform. I would like to share with him the beautiful charm of the ancient times and draw a picture of it, and submit it to the Master of Maohua for advice. Tang Yin. ‘There was a royal chariot patrol here, and the neighbors were eager to see the emperor’s body. The world changed with the city and the well remained, and the words of the wind song on the tablet were distorted. The sword was used to hope for death at that time, but it was unexpectedly surrendered to the Qin Dynasty after entering the customs. For thousands of years, there was no platform on the Si, and the setting sun, cattle and sheep felt passers-by.'” “Tang Jushi”. There are also stamps collected by An Qi, Wu Yan and others
Tang Yin explained the reason for drawing this picture in his poem. In the first year of Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty, Bingyin (1506), Tang Yin, at the age of 36, accompanied his bachelor Wang Ao to visit Peitai and drew this picture, and presented it to the bachelor of Maohua. Peitai, also known as Song Fengtai, is located in Peixian County, Jiangsu Province. It is said that Liu Bang, the great ancestor of the Han Dynasty, once drank and sang here, and later generations built this platform to record it
This picture of Tang Yin is purely in ink and ink, and is entirely a realistic sketch. The courtyard houses have a clear structure and a sense of perspective. All kinds of trees are mixed with each other. Most of them use empty hooks to clip the leaves. In the close shot, the slope stone is long chapped with a fine brush, slightly stained with halo. It is both fine and beautiful and mellow, which is Tang Yin’s characteristic mountain stone painting method. In the distant view, there is a mountain forest with deep fog and moist ink. Compared with the close view, although there is a small difference between the near and far, there is a great deal of randomness in the space location, reflecting the unique understanding of space treatment by ancient Chinese painters. The whole painting combines the skills of the court in the Song Dynasty with the charm of the Yuan people’s pen and ink, presenting a strong and elegant appearance
