[Zhu Jianshen Tuanheqi Diagram Axis]

Tuanheqi Diagram Axis, Ming Dynasty, Zhu Jianshen Painting, paper edition, color setting, 48.7cm vertical, 36cm horizontal
The signature of the fund: “On the first day of June in the first year of Chenghua”, stamped with “the treasure of Guangyun”. In the poetry hall, Zhu Jianshen, the Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty, wrote the title “A group of harmonious people praise”
This picture was made in 1465. Maitreya sat cross-legged with a smile on his face, and his body was round, but on closer inspection, he was three in one. On the left is an old man with a Taoist crown, and on the right is a Confucian scholar with a square scarf. The two people hold one end of the scripture scroll, join their knees, and smile each other. The third person puts his hands on the shoulders of the two people, revealing the shiny head, and twisting the Buddhist beads in his hands. They are Buddhist people. The work is well conceived and the characters are humorous. It reveals the theme of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in the form of images
The lines of the work are fine, smooth and flexible, showing the author’s skillful painting skills.
