Weft six-fold fabric. Persimmon ground warp and ground weft are interwoven into 2:1 left warp twill, and the texture is 1:2 left weft twill. The warp density is 88 pieces/cm, the ratio of ground warp to grain warp is 3:1, the twist direction is S, and the twist is medium; Weft density 6 × 20 pieces/cm, all untwisted, in dark green, medium green, light green, gray green, autumn fragrance, light tea, sapphire blue, lake blue, moon white, blue gray, wood red, pink, soapy brown, camel, white, etc. The method of changing shuttle in sections is adopted. Each section has five colored wefts and a piece of gold hook edge
The pattern is a hexagonal geometric frame composed of coiled tapers, and the heart is filled with flowers such as begonia, lotus, chrysanthemum and hollyhock. The ribbon is woven by a sapphire blue weft long distance running shuttle. The double hook edge is filled with small geometric patterns such as turtle back, lock, ancient coins, double square, square victory, and swastika. The flower cycle is 16 × 17.3 cm. The pattern composition layout is balanced, beautiful and generous, the color is rich and elegant, and the level is clear. It is a typical Song brocade composition and color method, achieving “gorgeous but not fire, complex but not messy”
This brocade was originally the head of “Wenzhengming Ink”, and is the best work of Song Jinzhong.
