Folding edge, rhombus mouth, flat plate center, round foot. The whole body is painted with green and white glaze, and the bottom is plain without glaze. The inside and outside of the plate are painted with blue and white patterns. The folding edge is painted with curly grass pattern, the blue and white mesh pattern on the inner wall highlights the white peony pattern on the ground, the edge of the disk center is ringed with curly grass pattern, the central blue and white ground sets off the unicorn and the phoenix, and the space is lined with white lotus and cloud patterns. The outer wall of the plate is painted with lotus patterns
The blue and white hair color is pure and the composition is rigorous. The heart of the plate is decorated with a symbol of “majestic and auspicious” to show the peace of heaven and earth. There are two forms of blue and white porcelain decoration in the Yuan Dynasty: one is to use blue and white materials to directly depict patterns on the white body. The other is based on blue and white flowers to set off white patterns. This decorative form began in the Yuan Dynasty. The white patterns are convex. This plate is the representative work of blue ground and white flowers.
