The back of the inkstone is carved with a light arc, which is in the small hand copying style. The regular script “July, the tenth year of Yuanzhen” is engraved on one side.
This inkstone is heavy, slightly red in color, with water and rust on the edge, and is very denuded. “Yuanzhen” is the year number of Chengzong of Yuan Dynasty, which should be carved later, but the flower-shaped inkstone pool is the characteristics of the inkstone of Yuan Dynasty, and the hand-written style is the style of Song inkstone
