Lu’s “Clouds” and “An Old Man in the Valley” were stamped on the front of the volume; At the end of the volume, there are five seals of Lu’s “Zhaishan”, “Lu’s Juren”, “Jingshoushan”, “Wosong Pavilion”, and “Jiji Pavilion”. Xiang Yuanbian, Bian Yongyu, and Anqi are the three most famous brands of Jiancang seals, and have the “Yizi” number of the Xiang family
There is a seven-character ancient poem in the volume of “Poems of Potato Water”, which praises the excellent and durable brush made by the painter Lu Wenjun, and captures the merit of nature. According to the self-designed model year, this volume was written in Xinhai (1371) in the fourth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty. It is the best cursive script of Lu Juren in his later years. The elegant and beautiful calligraphy has won the appreciation of Zhang Xu, Huai Su and Sun Guoting
On the back, there is a combination of rhymed Lu poems written by Zhang Shu in regular script of the Yuan Dynasty, which is a famous heritage of Zhang Shu. There are also one section of Chen Pu’s postscript and one section of Yuan Kai’s poem in the Yuan Dynasty
This volume was once collected by the Qianlong and Xuantong internal governments in the Qing Dynasty.
