Black-glazed flower-picking bottle, gold, 24 cm in height, 4.3 cm in diameter, 11.5 cm in foot diameter
The small mouth of the bottle is folded outward, the neck is short, the shoulders are slippery, the belly is bulging, the feet are hidden, and the bottom is sand. The whole body is painted with black glaze, and the glaze is bright as paint. The whole body uses the carving decoration technique. The shoulder is a deformed chrysanthemum petal pattern, and the abdomen is decorated with four groups of cash-shaped opening lights. The opening lights are carved with broken branches and leaves
The bottle has simple lines, rough and bold decoration, and the black and bright glaze contrasts with the brown carcass, which has a unique charm. This bottle was unearthed in Xiajiagou, Tianzhen County, Shanxi Province in 1955. At the bottom, there are four words in ink: “Guo She’s Residence”.
