[Zhongni Qin]
Zhongni Qin, Southern Song Dynasty, 126.1 cm in length, 116.1 cm in hidden space, 18.2 cm in forehead width, 20.1 cm in shoulder width, 14.6 cm in tail width and 5.1 cm in thickness
The zither is of the Zhongni style. It is made of tung wood, black lacquer, eight treasures of grey body, and the plum blossom ice pattern is broken in the belly of the small snake. A rectangular pond, a clam emblem, a red wood cross foot, and a jujube wood cross foot. The whole piano is flat, with little change in thickness from the beginning to the end, extremely light, and slightly rounded corners
Inscription on the back of the piano. On the left and right sides of the Longchi are engraved with small script: “The ancient Tonghua Mountain Taoist system of Chunhua Temple in the second year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty was rebuilt by the Haiquan Taoist in the sixth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty.” There is an indistinct Zhushu “Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty” inside. There is a saw pattern in front of the Yueshan Mountain. I think it was the sixth year of Chongzhen’s reign (1633) when a Taoist priest from Haiquan cut the abdomen. I was surprised to see this paragraph and removed it. I don’t know that the abdomen paragraph was fake. After the 1960s, he entered the Palace Museum
