Compared with the appearance, body shape and clothing of the gilded bronze Buddha statue of Dayi Tathagata collected by the Shanghai Museum in the “Second Year of the Reign of Dali Kingdom”, its modeling style is completely consistent. This bronze gilded golden Buddha sitting statue is simple and dignified, the gold is well preserved, and the shape is accurate. It should also be a work made by Dali Kingdom in the middle of the 12th century, equivalent to Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a rare art masterpiece in the world.
