The plate is open, the edge of the mouth is unglazed (commonly known as awn mouth), the shallow arc wall, and the circle foot. The fetus is light and white. White glaze is applied all over the body, and the glaze on the outer wall flows vertically to form tears. A cloud pattern is printed on the inner wall and a vigorous dragon is printed on the inner bottom
Printing refers to the printing of patterns on the green body that has not yet dried by using a carved pattern mold, which is one of the main decorative techniques of Ding Kiln. After the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty, Ding Kiln invented the covering burning process. “Mangkou” is the feature left by this process. The covering burning can make full use of the kiln volume and greatly increase the output.
