The bowl has open mouth, wide lip, deep arc wall and round foot. Green glaze is applied inside and outside. The bowl is carved with the lotus pattern of baby playing. A fat baby plays between three lotus flowers, and wears a bracelet on both wrists, which is charmingly naive
The bowl is finely carved and the picture is lively. In the late Northern Song Dynasty, the decoration of Yaozhou Kiln was mostly based on the motif of baby play, and the composition also included two babies playing on the swing and four babies playing on the lotus
