There is a inscription on the tablet in the third year (1051) of the reign of the Emperor of the Song Dynasty, which reads “The Records of the Compound Court of Wisdom”. The inscription on the right side of the stele was engraved with the original pattern. Later, it was moved to Xi’an Fuxue Confucian Temple. In 1588, in the 16th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, Yu Junfang, the superintendent of the school, made a pavilion to cover it. By the 24th year, the pavilion collapsed, and the monument was interrupted and several crosses were damaged. It is now in Xi’an Stele Forest Museum
The calligraphy brush, knot and shape of this tablet are in the style of the Northern Qi Dynasty, with strong backbone and strict law. Wang Shizhen of the Ming Dynasty said, “The Monument to the Emperor Huangfu, which is more dangerous than other steles, is the origin of Yijia Lantai. However, Lantai’s” Monument to the Tao “, with its pen and pen (official law), is also home to learning.”
