Changsha Kiln in the Tang Dynasty fired a large number of underglaze painted porcelain. It breaks through the single glaze color of celadon, enriches the decoration technology of Tang Dynasty porcelain, and creates the precedent of underglaze color porcelain in later generations. From the observation of a large number of objects, the initial form of this kind of decoration was a single brown color spot, and then evolved into a beautiful brown green color spot. The decoration content has developed from speckled patterns to flower and bird animal patterns, and some of them take pagodas and other buildings or poems as the theme. The decoration method is to use a brush to paint patterns on the green body with colored materials, and then cover a layer of transparent glaze and burn it in high temperature. The color of the color material remains unchanged after high temperature treatment. In addition to being good at changing the color and decorative content of porcelain, Changsha kiln craftsmen also created many practical and beautiful utensils in the shape. In particular, the number of the shape of the note is second to none in the Tang Dynasty. Take the injection mouth as an example, there are straight mouth, wash mouth, bell mouth, etc. There are long belly, round belly, melon prismatic belly, oval belly and bag belly. Because the notes unearthed at the site of Changsha Kiln include “Chen Jiamei Spring Wine”, “Wine is warm and fragrant”, “Since you enter Xinfeng City, you can only smell the old wine” and so on, it is proved that these notes are wine bottles at that time.
