Like the Han Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty paid special attention to the domestication of horses in order to resist the invasion of the northern minorities after seizing power. In addition, the Tang Dynasty also trained a number of dance horses for people’s entertainment. Therefore, the subject matter of horses in Tang Dynasty works of art is everywhere. This three-color horse of the Tang Dynasty stands upright with its head held high. It is very heroic and has the potential to gallop for thousands of miles. Its heroic posture is the concrete embodiment of the uplifting spirit of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
