Statue of Stone Bodhisattva, Sui Dynasty, 116 cm high and 40 cm wide
The bodhisattva is like a cripple. He bares his upper body, wears a necklace, and his body’s tassels are crossed in front of his belly. The shoulders are wrapped in an arc at the abdomen and knees. The waist of the skirt is turned out, the abdomen is exposed, and the silk belt is hung at the waist. Unearthed at the site of Xiude Temple in Quyang, Hebei.
