Wu Zihan made stone and double view sound image, which was built in the second year of Taining in the Northern Qi Dynasty (562), 45 cm high and 26 cm wide
Double Bodhisattva standing on the back screen. The bodhisattva wears a trefoil jewel crown on his head, and his body is flat. The cloth is worn in front of his belly and hung across the wall. It folds around the outside of his arm twice and then hangs on both sides of the lotus. She is wearing a skirt, hanging with lace, and standing barefoot on a single petal lotus seat. The Bodhisattva has the same posture. He holds a lotus bud on his right chest and a peach shape on his left leg. The two Bodhisattvas share a lotus petal-shaped back screen with a rectangular plain base underneath. The lotus petal and the bodhisattva’s shoulder remain red. On both sides and on the back of the base, the inscription “On May 15, the second year of Taining, Wu Zihan, the disciple of Buddha, made a white jade statue for his dead father, and was willing to give the examination to meet with the Buddha”
Unearthed at the Xiude Temple site in Quyang, Hebei in 1954.
