This statue is one of the four lotus statues unearthed from the Fengshi and Zushi tombs in Jingxian County, Hebei Province in 1948. It is tall and magnificent. The results of chemical analysis of this kind of celadon by scientific and technological workers show that the chemical composition of its body and glaze is different from that of southern celadon and has the characteristics of northern celadon.
