The pot has a pan mouth, a short flow of chicken head, a bulging belly, and a flat bottom, commonly known as “chicken head pot”. There is a bridge-shaped system on both sides of the shoulder, and there is an arc handle connecting edge. The whole body is painted with blue glaze, and the mouth of the pot and the head of the chicken are decorated with brown color, which has the beauty of finishing the point
The chicken head pot was first seen in the Western Jin Dynasty and is the same as the sheep head pot. In the early period, the spout of the kettle was mostly solid and could not discharge water. By the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Liukou had become one of the main daily porcelain in the south during this period.
