[Chengyang Lingtai Stele]
Vertical: 33 cm, horizontal (half width): 19.5 cm. Donated by Zhu Yiyu and his family.
This is a copy of the Song Dynasty and a rubbing of the Ming Dynasty. Nine open, four open postscript, Huang Yi’s collection, and the inscription and postscript are sealed with “Huang Xiaosong’s Treasure Seal”
The monument was erected in the fifth year of Jianning in Han Dynasty (172). The inscription eulogizes the merit and virtue of Yao mother. Kang Youwei’s “Guangyi Boat Double Boats” said: “The style of” Chengyang Lingtai “is rich and vigorous, like” Yang Tong “and” Yang Zhu “.”
This is one of Huang Xiaosong’s “Five Steles of the Han and Wei Dynasties”, which is a translated version. After the textual research of Huang Yi, “Yi believed that this book must be copied from the ancestral stone”, and it was determined as “the Song rubbings of the Yanglingtai tablet engraved again”.
