The private seal of the Han Dynasty is made of sapphire, with a nose button. The font of the seal is Han seal, white text, and the word “Pan Yan” is read horizontally from the right. The two characters of “Pan Yan” are equidistant and juxtaposed, the single character frame and the layout of the two characters are very symmetrical, and the printed characters are shallow, which makes it easier to express the body shape of the characters in a smooth way when making them, which shows the ingenuity of the Han Dynasty printer. The sapphire material can only be seen at the bottom of the top of the printing button and a few places on the printing surface. Most of the whole body has been strongly eroded, resulting in large pieces of surface falling off, which makes people choke when appreciating.
