LuDaSitu [0024] is 28.6 cm high, 25.2 cm wide and 7.24 kg in weight
Straight shallow plate, flat bottom, round foot, with a band around the waist. There is a petal-shaped catch on the cover, but it can be placed. The whole decoration is made of coiled cobra pattern, and the cover is hollowed out with the grip and the circle foot
There are four lines and 25 characters on the cover and the utensil:
Lu Da Si Tu Hou’s
Yuan Zuo Shan [0024] (Yin Fu), whose eyebrow
has a long life, and whose son
Sun Yongbao uses it
The main idea of the inscription: The great Situ Hou Yuan of the State of Lu made the “0024” for food, hoping to live a long life, and future generations will always use it
The handle and foot loop of the cover are processed into hollow patterns, which is a common feature of “0024” in the Spring and Autumn Period. This “0024” was unearthed in Linqian Village, Qufu, Shandong Province in 1932. There are also two pieces of the same inscription
