Li Gui, 14.2 cm in height, 19.7 cm in diameter and 2 kg in weight
Round belly, round feet, semicircular double ears, with a small protuberance hanging under each ear. The front and back of the neck are cast with semi-relief and symmetrical two animal heads. Each of the three animal heads is decorated with a Kui pattern on both sides, and the circle foot is decorated with a double Kui synthetic animal face pattern, which evenly forms four groups of animal face patterns
The inscription on the bottom of the vessel was cast in three lines of 19 characters, and the combined text was 1 character:
Xinsi, Wang Yinduoya
[0009], enjoying Beijing, Li
giving Bei Erpeng as the crown prince. 『0010』 。
The main idea is that on the day of Xinsi, the king of Shang hosted a banquet for officials in the hall, and then held a memorial ceremony in Beijing. Li may be awarded two strings of shellfish by the king of Shang for his meritorious participation in the above activities. For this reason, Gui was made to commemorate Prince Ding
