The jade dragon is carved from a whole piece of yellow-green amphibole jade. It is in a long cylindrical shape, and its body is bent into a C-shape, with a beautiful rainbow curve. The head of the jade dragon is carved, with long fusiform eyes protruding, and the edge is outlined with a single Yin line. The kiss is long and convex, the nose is upturned, and the mouth and jaw are carved with several simple lines. This jade dragon was originally collected by Mr. Fu Zhongmo, the father of Mr. Fu Xinian. Mr. Fu Zhongmo was born in Tianjin in 1905 and died in Beijing in 1974. He is knowledgeable and knowledgeable. He spent his whole life collecting more than 1000 pieces of ancient jade. He is a famous expert and collector of ancient jade research. He once wrote the book “Ancient Jade Elite”, which was circulated to later generations. The book records hundreds of jade articles in his collection, and has incisive views on each piece of jade. In 1992, the Palace Museum purchased 396 jade articles collected by Mr. Fu, including three Hongshan culture jade articles including this jade dragon, which is also the largest C-shaped jade dragon seen so far
