This group of photos was taken by the author when he set out from Xi’an on February 4, 1910 to today’s Binxian County, Shaanxi Province
Binzhou (Binxian County) is located in the northwest of Xianyang, Shaanxi Province, 150 kilometers away from the provincial capital Xi’an in the south and 160 kilometers away from Pingliang, Gansu in the north. It has a long history and splendid culture. As early as 3500 years ago, Gongliu, the forefather of Zhou, taught the people to cultivate crops and cultivate grains here, and established the ancient Bin State. The Book of Songs describes the production and living conditions of the ancient Bin people. Therefore, Binzhou also has; Hometown of the Book of Songs” The reputation. In terms of historical evolution, Qi County was established in the Qin Dynasty, Bin Prefecture was established in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and Bin was changed to“ Bin in the 13th year of Kaiyuan (A.D. 725) of the Tang Dynasty; Bin”, In 1964, it was changed to polite“ Binxian&rdquo
In May 2018, it was approved to revoke Binxian County and establish Binzhou City at the county level. Binzhou City is directly under the provincial government, and Xianyang City is the custodian

今天发布一组1910年陕西彬县老照片，让我们一览百年前彬县乡野风貌。
本组老照片的拍摄者为乔治·厄内斯特·莫理循，他于乔治·厄内斯特·莫理循1910年在中国西北地区进行了考察，拍摄了大量中国老照片，本组照片为作者1910年2月4日有西安出发行进到如今的陕西彬县地区拍摄。
彬州（彬县）市位于陕西省咸阳市西北部，南距省会西安150公里，北距甘肃平凉160公里。历史悠久，文化灿烂，早在3500年前，周先祖公刘就在这里教民稼穑、树艺五谷，建立古豳国，《诗经•豳风》描写的就是古豳先民的生产生活状况，因此彬州市也有“诗经之乡”之美誉。在历史沿革上，秦设漆县，北魏设豳州，唐开元十三年（公元725年）改豳为“邠”，1964年改为彬彬有礼的“彬县”。
2018年05月，经批准，同意撤销彬县，设立县级彬州市。彬州市由省直辖，咸阳市代管。
