There was such a church in Dalian. Although we can no longer see it, it has appeared in the old photos of that time many times

In Dalian, during the opening of the port and the founding of the city by the Tsarist Russia (1899-1904), the church complex was planned and designed with the building squares in the administrative and living areas as the center. However, with the end of the Russo Japanese War in 1904-1905, when the Tsarist Russia was defeated and Japan occupied Dalian, the church in the square in front of the Dalini Municipal Hall was only partially completed and then stopped working

1906年，日据大连，关东州民政署在这座俄国教堂建了大连的第一所小学，大连寻常高等小学校，1908年后该校迁出。资料记载，大连寻常高等小学校旧址在现今的烟台街，日据时期称山城町，沙俄时期称季莫夫街。

这张照片在达里尼市政厅前广场朝南拍摄，中间是当时的季莫夫街，今烟台街，右侧是这座俄国教堂。
