Lushun Battle was a land battle in the Russo Japanese War. In order to capture the home port of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Empire, the Japanese army surrounded it and finally captured Lushun Port on the Liaodong Peninsula of China. The campaign lasted for 5 months, the longest in the Russo Japanese War

Lushun is a territory forcibly leased by the Tsar government as the base of the main force of the Russian Pacific Fleet according to the agreement with China (1898).
