The old photos of urban and rural life in Chengdu in 1909 were taken by Zhang Bolin

On January 4, 1909, American geologist Zhang Bolin (1881-1948) and his son Rowling set off from Chicago and arrived in Shanghai on February 2 of the same year, starting their Chinese investigation tour. During the investigation, father and son took a large number of photos recording the social style of the late Qing Dynasty
