Jade, with brown spots and cicada shape, is carved in the style of the so-called “Han Eight Sabres”. In the Han Dynasty, this kind of jade cicada was often contained in the mouth of dead people as “Hu”. The head of a cicada is pierced by an ox nose, which should be added later in the world as a hole for tying and stringing.
