Green white jade, with large ochre spots and shells. The pen target is carved into an irregular lotus leaf, with the leaf margin turned up to be a shallow plate. The edge is embossed with lotus roots and lotus stems. The center of the leaf is carved with a yin line as the vein, and the crab and snail are carved. The shape is natural, vivid and interesting. The pen target is a tool used to suck ink before writing and drawing. It is a common article in the study, and it is put together with 14 pieces of study utensils in the octagonal box with jade inlaid Bogutou (hence 552).
