The Zhemeile is often used in combination with the mother of pearl. The jade strip inlaid with jewels on the silver gold-plated base is padded with red velvet and fixed on the black long yarn or satin and other fabrics. It can also be used alone. For example, the Zhemeile is tied between the forehead of the women in the Twelve Beauties Collection in the Palace Museum in Beijing. This piece is called the mouth of the mother of pearl, which should be decorated in front of the forehead at the lower edge of the mother of pearl. The arc shaped mouth of the pearl inlaid with the combination of bat and the longevity character of the seal script as the basic unit is connected with each unit separated by a small flower. The front edge is inlaid with beads, which clearly connects the lines of the arc and emphasizes the overall elegance.
