- Description:
The flowerpot has a wide mouth, a deep wall, and four Ruyi cloud feet. The fetal bone is thick, the glaze color is gray blue, the sole of the foot is coated with black glaze, and part of the white body is exposed. There is a round six character seal script printed in the center of the bottom, “made in the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty”. There are two half moon shaped seepage holes near the foot, which are ingeniously designed and elegant. In the sixth year of Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1741), Ding Guanpeng and others painted the Painting of the Eighteen Scholars (hence the painting 01555). In the garden, a blue glazed miniascape with a similar shape to this exhibition piece was placed on the lacquered table. Pink camellia, delicate and clean. A blue glazed flowerpot similar to an implement is used to cultivate ganoderma lucidum in the picture of “Fairy Flowers, Clear Sacrifice, Ganoderma lucidum Library Utensils” (hence picture 003420-4) written by Shen Huan, a painter of the Qing Dynasty. The flowers are colorful and elegant.
