The oval shaped ink is decorated with a phoenix flying among the clouds, where the cloud is at the edge of the ink, while the phoenix occupies the entire ink, and the wings look back to show its flying tendency. On the side of the ink, there is the inscription “Qianlong Xinmao Year” (1771) in gold script, and the die seal “Phoenix Pendant”. This ink and other 51 ink are stored in two drawers and one box.
