This jade axe may have been engraved with antique patterns from the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, And dyed maroon. There are three round holes in the whole vessel. The largest round hole in the center of the vessel may be used for inlaying turquoise. The middle round hole shall be used for threading and binding the wooden handle
