- Description:
The plate is in the shape of ten petal crabapple, with four pad feet underneath. The walls of the inner and outer panels are painted with the pattern of rotating branches and lotus flowers for a week. The bright white ground on the panel is painted with alum red color, which is the same as the imperial poem written by the Emperor Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty (hence the porcelain 015352): “It is better to pour tribute on the head of the Ming Dynasty, and it is necessary to pour poetry on the group. The bamboo lozenges add fire, while the stone Yao boils and rushes. The eyes of the fish and crabs are slowly raised, and the shadow of the flag gun is fine. One Ou is fresh and full, and the spring is warm.” In the middle of the green space on the outsole, the white ground and the alum red script “made in Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty” with three lines and six characters are reserved. The side lines of the four feet and the rim are all painted with gold. This kind of tray for placing tea bowls and cups was often painted before Qianlong. Generally, a single or two covered bowls are placed on a rectangular tea plate, which can be proved by the decoration in most court paintings of the Qing Dynasty. After Yongzheng, the number of covered bowls and a group of three pieces of utensils (or plates) gradually increased.
