Zou Yigui, born in the 25th year of Kangxi (1686 A.D.) and died in the 37th year of Qianlong (1772 A.D.), was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He was named Yuanbao, Xiaoshan, Rangqing and Erzhi Old Man. In the fifth year of the reign of Emperor Yongzheng, the official went to the Ministry of Rites as a lackey, adding the title of minister. He wrote a painting of a hill. Xiaoshan painted the original Yun Shouping. Only the works are mostly made according to the rules, so they are neat and colorful. This painting is an evergreen basin of pine and a jade chime, which symbolizes the celebration of ten thousand years. There are also plum bottles and four crabs rising from the bottle, which means “peace in the world”.
