- Description:. The surface of the utensil should have been plain, or in the early Qing Dynasty, the antique eagle, tiger and side divine ancestor patterns were carved with string patterns. After the carving, the whole utensil was dyed brown. It can be inferred from the motif that the jade workers who carved this antique pattern should have seen some ancient jade Qi carved with eagle and tiger patterns.
