The narrow and long boxwood piece, with the dome shaped surface as the arm rest, is hollowed out on the back. The plum tree and plum flower are carved in the middle section with the hollowing technique. There are three verses carved in the dark on the top of the dome: “The five mountains are rocked with a happy pen, and the poem becomes a laughing and proud poem.”; “The jade steps give birth to white dew and invade the silk stockings for a long time in the night. However, they descend the crystal curtain and look at the autumn moon delicately.”, Titled “Elephant Pavilion” and “Zhizai”; “The clouds return to the broad autumn waters, and the moon rises at night and the mountain is deep”, and the titles are “Zhizai” and “Xian”.
