• Description:
  The left side of this axis depicts “real” trees and stones, slopes, houses and main mountains, corresponding to the vast river on the right side, which is left blank to produce “virtual”. Through the close view of the hillside, the trees connect the middle view of the mountain, and the oblique stacked mountains guide the viewer to move. With the zigzag water area side by side with the mountain, the flow from bottom right to middle left and turns right up successively, forming two mutually echoing movement directions with the solid rocks. This painting defines the outline of the mountain tree stone with a dry pen, and then uses a side brush to dry and add the texture of the image. It uses green flowers and cinnabar as moss spots and red leaves. Self knowledge: “Kangxi Renwu (1702) was long in summer. It imitated Huangzi’s long autumn mountain in the capital residence.”
